GROUP STUDY: Performance Creation and Critical Response, Session 1

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Do you need a forum to share your work and receive feedback directly? Do you need a safe space where you can express yourself with other like-minded artists? In this Group Study, the focus will be on performance sharing, critical response, and the utilization of research that influences our artistic decisions. Through documentation, each participant will share their performance work at each session, receive feedback and discuss the theory or critical materials that influenced their work. Each student may submit up to four pieces throughout the semester and will be encouraged to communicate what form of feedback they are searching for. Any student with a performance practice is encouraged to join the group study, and students may also join just to witness and provide feedback. This study group is designed to help students articulate their intentions, develop critical response skills, and give space for each other to express their performative practices.
